Testing the API

Your account at Click2Mail.com is a live order account. All orders you place with your account will be printed and mailed. If you need an account specifically for testing you can obtain one but there are a couple of things you need to keep in mind. The test account is not linked to your Click2Mail.com production account. All documents, lists and orders will not appear in your Click2Mail.com order history or be accessible from Click2Mail.com. You will not be able to move documents, lists, and orders from the test account to the production account and vice versa.

We provide a test server in our pre-production environment for customer testing. This server is up 99% of the time but since it is our staging environment there may be system features on this server that are not yet available in production. If you do find that the testing server has become unavailable please report it to [email protected].

To create an account on the testing server goto https://stage.click2mail.com/customer/account and register there. Follow the instructions found "here": /rest-api/molpro/getting-started/obtaining-api-access to enable API access for your account.

The test rest api is located at https://{username}:{password}@stage-rest.click2mail.com/molpro/. In the test environment you may use the same payment methods you will use in production. There is a test Visa credit card account available which you may use to purchase your order or purchase user credit for your order. The Acct. number is 4111111111111111 with a CRV code of 123. You may use any expiration date that is in the future. Any order that is placed in the staging environment will be fully processed but it will not be mailed.
